It’s another day of great action on ITV on Sunday with the return of Aintree and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders on the day. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with cracking 25/1 and 18/1 winners recently. Best of luck if you follow him in.
Numitor (10/1) usually either wins or is pulled up so you should know your fate early, that’s for sure, but at the prices he has to be considered as a bet. He has an overall good strike-rate over fences and won at Wincanton on his return last term before also winning at Cheltenham and Ascot. He was Pulled up in veterans event at Haydock when last seen and was sent off favourite that time. It would be very folly to rule him out as he is more than capable when on a going day.
Arctic Conditions (16/1) was very strong in the betting when disappointing on his rules debut in an Exeter bumper last January. Sent off favourite on the day, he clearly shows plenty at home and he was well clear when a faller at the last in an Irish point too. The ability is there, can he put it all together now over hurdles?
The Gray Ghost (11/1) is a bumper winner who got won over hurdles for the first time in a 2m4f Newcastle novice back in January. He had excuses three weeks ago at Kelso as his saddle slipped and could be lurking off a nice mark now on the back of that.
