Harry Cobden has two rides at Leopardstown on Sunday and the double is 179/1

Harry Cobden will take the short journey across the Irish Sea to Leopardstown on Sunday where he will take two rides with live chances for Willie Mullins. This is something we are going to see more of and he will probably pick up a few rides for him at Cheltenham in March too.

Let’s take a look at the two horses in question and you can back the double using the ready made betslip on this article.

2.30 Leopardstown

Cobden will be looking forward to his ride in the Grade 1 Savills Chase as it’s a runner with a live each-way chance and that is Champ Kiely. The Grade 1-winning hurdler won at the top level over fences on his penultimate start when seeing off Ballyburn in the Champion Novice Chase at the Punchestown festival last season. Nearly a 10yo, he is lightly raced for his age and he made a pleasing reappearance when narrowly denied by a short head in a Grade 3 at Naas over an inadequate 2m last month. That will have him spot on for this and he has a chance.

3.05 Leopardstown

A daughter of the outstanding Quevega, Cameletta Vega has some way to go to live up to expectations but she has a chance in the 2m7f handicap hurdle. The bumper and maiden hurdle winner gained that win at Cork in May. She has run well in defeat in three starts since, finishing fourth in a Grade 3 novice at Down Royal when last seen over 2m1f. The step up in trip should suit her on her first try in handicap company. Place claims.
