Ahead of the Grand National this weekend, many punters and casual racing fans will be struggling to make a decision on who will win the biggest race in the calendar.

Some people like to choose their horse using statistics and form, others choose purely on instinct, while sometimes the best name or colours can capture public imagination.

The Racing Post have closely associated each horse running in the Grand National, with a football club from the top four divisions of English football, and the Scottish Premiership, in order to help anyone struggling to pick their winner this Saturday.
