Won by the likes of Goldikova and Integral, it’s a race that can crown superstars. The British look to hold all the aces in the early markets, but we know how good Aidan O’Brien is with his fillies, with this year’s renewal looking fascinating. Falmouth Stakes Runners & Entries
This year’s betting looks wide open, with the field of eight all at prices of around 10/1 or lower. The favourite is William Haggas’ One Master, who posted a career-best on her latest start to finish third in the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot. She’ll be taking on the unexposed Qabala, who finished third in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket before a recent flop in the Irish version, so she needs to bounce back.
Aidan O’Brien sends over two, with I Can Fly finishing third in the Duke Of Cambridge on her most recent outing and that form puts her in the mix. Happen is the other Irish runner, though even her best form would leave her someway short in this field on bare ratings.
