The Cheltenham Festival is fast approaching and the excitement is building. Entries are now out for every single race. Betting at the Festival provides plenty of excellent opportunities for each-way plays. Liam Bramall has selected a juicy outsider for every one of the four days and they’re all huge prices! We’ve also combined them into an interesting ante post each-way Lucky 15.

High Definition (16-1, bet365) will need to sharpen up his jumping but trainer Joseph O’Brien will be doing plenty of work on that front before the day. An absolute class-act, he finished second by a neck in a Group 1 on the Flat in May. You can’t help but be impressed with the way he took to hurdling when scoring on debut and there’s plenty more to come from this horse.
Greaneteen (33-1, bet365) was admittedly disappointing at Newbury when last seen as this dual Tingle Creek winner was the odds-on favourite. His trainer would have left him a little short that day, in preparation for this bigger target however. Seems to want further these days so the stamina testing track at Cheltenham will suit well. Only beaten two lengths in this race two years ago so a big run is by no means out of the question.
Sceau Royal (33-1, bet365) tends to run his race more often than not. The glaring omission of Allaho has opened this race right up and may provide an interesting opportunity for this horse. This extended 2m4f is new territory for him and at his age, could provide a suitable test. Third behind Fakir D’oudairies at Aintree last April on his sole attempt at 2m4f, he’s worth giving another chance here.
Chianti Classico (33-1, bet365) is unbeaten in three starts over hurdles so far. Kim Bailey’s gelding beat a subsequent Grade 2 winner on hurdles debut at Chepstow. His most impressive performance came on handicap debut at Wincanton last time, dominating the field to score by 24 lengths, over an extended 2m5f. This race is his sole Cheltenham entry and the three-mile trip should facilitate further improvement.
