3.02 Lingfield

Molly Valentine (12/1, bet365) produced a game performance to win off a 1lb lower mark at Wolverhampton in December and that form surely puts her bang in the mix. It’s a positive that David Probert returns to the saddle, having been on board for her last success, and she’s capable of running well.

4.12 Lingfield

Harbour Vision (25/1, bet365) ran a cracker to finish second by a length over this trip at Wolverhampton in February and currently finds himself on a 1lb lower mark. Whilst the 118-race veteran is getting on a bit, he loves the all-weather and may well have another win in him.

5.00 Newcastle

Sea Legend (20/1, bet365) is very well treated on his best form and 1m2f appears to be his ideal trip. He won easily over course and distance off a 2lb higher mark for James Fanshawe back in May and if producing a similar display on debut for Jim Goldie, the four-year-old is entitled to go very close.

7.00 Newcastle

Jenever (11/1, bet365) was gaining with every stride when second by a head here over 5f when last seen and the return to 6f could help. Jessica Macey’s gelding ran well to finish fourth in the Silver Cup at Ayr in September, despite being on the wrong side, and it would be dangerous to overlook him here.
