Ascot horses for courses: Adrian picks out three track winners to form 60/1 treble

Adrian has loved racing from an early age, and regularly visits his local tracks in the west of Ireland. With a love for both UK & Irish flat and jumps racing, his favourite festival is the Galway Races and he goes there every year.
Ascot Horses for Courses Treble
Three or four strong selections picked by our tipsters and backed as one bet.
Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday. The treble returns great odds of 60/1 at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.
Altobelli has a great record around Ascot and hasn’t been out of the first three in a trio of starts around the track. Runner-up at Doncaster on his return, he finally came good here when scoring in a C&D handicap hurdle off a mark of 132. The cheekpieces worked well on that occasion and a 5lb rise is more than fair.
Venetia Williams is having a tremendous season and Victtorino is a three-time C&D winner already so deserves plenty of respect in the big 3m handicap chase. The seven-year-old son of It’s Gino jumped his rivals into the ground when winning here in December and a 3lb rise is more than fair. He should go well again.
Pic D’orhy needs no introduction around here and he won the Ascot Chase last season convincingly. Paul Nicholls’ star always seems to go well around here and although this does look like a deeper race than 12 months ago and he will have stern opposition in the shape of Irish challenger Corbetts Cross, if you are a horses for courses fan, this boy will be on your list.
