Oldschool Outlaw is going to be a very short price for the extended 2m2f Grade 3 Solerina Mares’ Novice Hurdle, but Gordon Elliott’s daughter of Walk In The Park should win this. She won a Listed bumper on stable debut at Navan in November, and the runner-up Royal Hillsborough would have won the big bumper at Leopardstown on Sunday but for the rider mistaking the winning post. She then lowered the colours of last season’s Champion Bumper winner Bambino Fever at Naas over hurdles, who bolted up next time. An exciting prospect who loves heavy ground.

Themanintheanorak won a Listowel bumper at Listowel on debut last summer and was a very good runner-up of 15 in a C&D handicap when last seen in November. Top claimer Mikey Kenneally is booked and he shouldn’t be far away.

Kenneally also has great claims aboard Our Uncle Jack in the 2m handicap hurdle, who went up 12lb for a 23-length demolition job from the front on heavy at Clonmel when last seen. He should go well again.
