Adrian Wall’s Saturday ITV outsiders including a 16/1 tip for the Ebor Handicap

Muntahaa and Jim Crowley winning the Ebor at York 2018

It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders on Saturday at York and Goodwood. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on the day. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with cracking 25/1 and 18/1 winners recently. Best of luck if you follow him in.

1.50 York

Boiling Point (12/1) was a Listed winner when trained by Roger Varian and made an encouraging start to life for this stable when fifth in a valuable handicap at Newcastle in June. He looked in need of a stiffer test when fourth in the Pomfret Stakes at Pontefract when last seen and this step up in trip should unlock plenty of improvement for a very shrewd outfit. He looks well overpriced on the pick of his form if he can recapture his best.

2.25 York

Cape Breton (20/1) looked like a type who cherished a proper staying trip when easily getting off the mark for a second time in a four-runner handicap at Salisbury over 1m4f in June. He ran well off 7lb higher when fourth at Goodwood and this extra trip could unlock more.

3.35 York

Kihavah (16/1) arrives here off the back of an excellent second in the Summer Handicap Hurdle at Market Rasen and was second in last year’s Ebor from a mark of 95. He’s much higher in the weights this time around but there’s no reason why he shouldn’t hit the frame if he runs to close to his best. There’s a large Irish contingent in the race this year but this boy might hold the best chance for the British.
