It’s another day of great action on ITV on Saturday and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders on the day. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds live on ITV Racing. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with cracking 25/1 and 18/1 winners recently. Best of luck if you follow him in.
Dargiannini (40/1) is too big a price to ignore. Harry Derham’s runner came back after nine months off to win a competitive 2m4f handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter and he is also a former course and distance winner. He’s up 3lb for his latest success but should remain competitive.
Moon d’Orange (66/1) is a live outsider in the Coral Gold Cup. He won a 20.5f Cheltenham handicap chase last season and has been kept ticking over in hurdle contests of late. He’s off a fair mark back over fences and might surprise a few with a big effort.
Hang In There (16/1) bounced back to form when staying on dourly from off the pace to win a veterans’ handicap at Chepstow over 3m on fast ground last month. He is up 5lb for that which is more than fair, and this doesn’t look too deep a contest so he is respected.
Nicky Henderson has won three of the last seven runnings of the 2m5f handicap hurdle at Newbury. Perhaps East India Express could be of each-way interest. The 6yo had a brilliant time of things last season, gaining his third victory at Cheltenham in April. He has since been a faller and pulled up when last seen but it is obvious that he is much better than that. He is one to keep an eye on in the betting and the talented Freddie Gordon will take the ride.
