2.00 Newbury

Le Frimeur won an Irish point at Nenagh in March and was subsequently purchased by leading owners Souede and Munir. The Harry Derham-trained five-year-old won at Chepstow on his first start under rules and looks well set for another big run.

2.30 Newbury

Captain Bellamy was beaten by a short head over course and distance in December and that form has worked out well, with the winner going in again since. Winless since taking a Chepstow bumper in 2023, a return to winning ways is anticipated here.

3.00 Newbury

Across Earth is progressing nicely this season and already has two wins to his name, having won well at Hereford and Sandown. It was a fair effort when second off this mark at Huntingdon in December and further progress can’t be ruled out.

3.32 Newbury

Lowry’s Bar has won four of his six starts over hurdles and can be forgiven for a below-par display in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury on seasonal debut. He’s been given plenty of time to get over that and the steep drop in grade should make life much easier here.

4.07 Newbury

King Califet won a maiden hurdle here a couple of seasons ago and he was a respectable fourth behind the smart Noble Park here over a shorter distance in February. That form looks pretty solid and the drop in grade should be a big help too.

4.42 Newbury

De Kingpin has run well in all three starts at Newbury, winning a novice hurdle in December 2024 and bolting up in a handicap last time out. The handicapper has responded with a 7lb rise, which should be manageable, and he looks capable of repeating the trick.

5.16 Newbury

Regatta De Blanc won a hunter chase at Cheltenham in May 2024 and was a good second under rules at Ascot for Paul Nicholls last season. She’ll improve plenty for her run in a point-to-point in December and the eight-year-old has the ability to go close in this company.
