2.05 Chester

Although we feel that Military Academy has a good chance at the weights of reversing the form with Hamish, the William Haggas runner will have to go into the horses for courses treble. He returned again in fine form with a Listed win at Goodwood over 1m4f in June, seeing ogg Military Academy by a neck and he always has to be respected when operating at around this level.

2.40 Chester

Spirit Mixer won twice over C&D last autumn, including this contest, and also landed another big pot when landing the Northumberland Plate in June. He has been out of form since and his mark remains rather high, but a return to this venue could spark a revival.

3.00 Doncaster

Room Service won a Listed race here over 6f at the end of last year and he has been in good form of late, with a runner-up in the Criterion Stakes at York in June and better than the bare result in the Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh on latest.
