4 Saturday Must Have Betting Pointers + 252/1 Acca!

One of the biggest races of the flat season takes place at Ascot this afternoon, with the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes taking centre stage. Last years runner up Crystal Ocean is back for more, taking on 2017 winner and superstar filly Enable. Throw in this years Derby winner, Anthony Van Dyck, and it’ll be a race to savour.

There is also Group 2 action at York covered by our ITV Racing Tips, where a small but select field of six go to post for the York Stakes.

ITV Best Bet

There can only be one best bet for us this afternoon and that’s Enable. Winning the King George in 2017, beating a high class field by an impressive four and a half lengths, has formed part of her remarkable run of eight Group 1 wins at eight different tracks.

Returning with a win in the Coral Eclipse at Sandown, once again she looks to have retained all of that tremendous ability and unless someone in this field can produce something way out of the ordinary, it should be another top flight win for Enable.

Outsider to Watch

Summer Romance is a very short price in the Princess Margaret and there looks to be plenty of value in Living In The Past against her. Karl Burke’s filly made a satisfactory debut at Ripon to finish third on soft ground, but left that form well behind when winning in good style at Beverley, under just hands and heels.

Mighty Spirit was back in second as 1/3 favourite, having placed in Listed company the start before and running third in the Super Sprint last weekend. So the form is strong and the booking of flying Frankie Dettori today is very eye-catching – we’re expecting a big run!

Good Records – 252/1* Acca

Some horses just have an affiliation for certain races or particular tracks and we have a few winners out today hoping for repeat success!

Won the last 3 runnings of the race

Won the last 2 runnings of the race

Won this race in 2017

Trainer Target

Some trainers like to target certain races as they may just like it or it fits in well with their schedule. Mark Johnston has won 2 of the last 4 runnings of the Listed Pat Eddery Stakes at Ascot and is going for a third today!
