How We Landed Our 16/1 Acca

• Tipped at 10/11, Queensbury Boy got the acca off to the perfect start under owner and rider David Maxwell, who is more than capable in the saddle. He’s a very exciting addition to the Harry Derham yard, and he beat a good horse in Captain Bellamy without coming off the bridle.
• Next up was Starzand who was making his rules debut for the Hobbs & White stable. He was picked up for £230,000 after winning an Irish point and, despite racing keenly early on, he left his rivals for dust in the closing stages, returning 13/8.
• Last but now least and tipped up at 5/2, Michael Schofield was sent off an 11/8 chance and duly obliged at Southwell. He was slowly away which was worrying over  the mile trip, but he stayed on powerfully to the line and he was never for catching once the button was pushed.
