Saturday Cheltenham Outsiders: Adrian likes an Olly Murphy-trained runner at 25-1

Although seven-year-olds have won three of the past four renewals, it is the four-year-olds who look the ones to focus on today. Original Choice won the Hunt Cup at Wetherby twelve-days-ago, he has been raised just three pounds for that and should be competitive once again. He is coming up against a potentially well-treated rival here, however, in LARCHMONT LAD. A Group 3 winner as a two-year-old, he failed to replicate that level of form last season but has shown promise since joining David O’Meara. He makes his handicap debut today off what looks a fair opening mark, and a return to his best form would see him right in the mix at the business end of this race.
