8.15pm Kempton tips for Wednesday’s Class 4 race. The feature race of the evening is a seven furlong handicap at the Sunbury venue. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: Plenty of lightly raced types who are thoroughly unexposed, including Yellowhammer and Aquamarina, with both those horses respected. Ready preference though is for REBEL SURGE who is making her first start in Class 4 company since winning and placing in this grade back in the spring. She has Nicola Currie taking off seven pounds and she’s run well over course and distance in the past. At her best, she should be too strong for this field and can notch up her first all weather victory.

1 REBEL SURGE – Ran well in a tougher race than this two starts ago off 1lb higher and this is her first venture into Class 4 company since winning and placing in a pair of races in this grade in the spring. She’s on a more than fair mark and, with Nicola Currie taking off 7lbs, she should be too good for this grade.

2 PEAK PRINCESS – Course and distance winner three starts ago in impressive fashion and she had excuses on her latest start at Newmarket. She remains on the all weather and looks a key player for Richard Hannon back down in grade.

3 PARLANCE – Yet to win a handicap for Sir Michael Stoute, but she wasn’t beaten far at Newmarket on her latest start, beaten by a neck. She’s only 3lbs higher here and has Georgia Cox taking off 3lbs, so has to be respected.

4 HARBA – Completed a hat-trick on the turf earlier this year, but she’s been well beaten the last twice, never dangerous at Chelmsford last month. Clearly too high in the weights at present and is best watched.

5 ROSE BERRY – Form has tailed off since the summer for Chris Dwyer, never looking threatening at Newmarket on her latest start. Her stamina for 7f is a big question mark and others look stronger.

6 FIRST DANCE – Course and distance winner in August on only her fourth start, but she was well beaten a month later on handicap debut behind Parlance. Plenty to prove now and she needs to settle better. Others are readily preferred.

7 CRAFTY MADAM – Tends to race too keenly, winning two starts ago at Sandown before not getting away with her tendencies at Ascot last time. Clearly has plenty of ability, but she’s risky and can only be watched.

8 YELLOWHAMMER – Has won both her starts since debuting for Roger Charlton, whose yard is in incredible form. She led on the post despite a poor run at Newmarket in July and, off only 3lbs higher, she isn’t going to be far away.

9 JERSEY BREEZE – Has gone off the boil since two wins in the summer for Mick Channon, weakening tamely at Lingfield when last seen in August. She’s only 2lbs lower and makes little appeal.

10 BROGAN – Has run some solid races this year for Tom Dascombe, but more often than not she’s been well held, never dangerous at Musselburgh in October. She’s 2lbs lower here, but needs improvement to take this.

11 AQUAMARINA – Impressive on debut to win comfortably, well beaten in the Rosemary Stakes at Newmarket on her latest run. That was on the back of a long break and this is a much more suitable task off a workable mark on handicap debut. Has to be respected as she’s unexposed.

12 CASTLE HILL CASSIE – Two wins from seven starts, but they’ve come in a Class 5 Maiden and Class 5 Handicap. She was only a neck ahead when winning at Newcastle last time and a 5lb rise back up in grade should be enough to find her out.

13 NARJES – Seven race maiden who has shown the form to win this, but has been inconsistent and was well held at Chelmsford in September. Doesn’t seem to be improving and looks vulnerable once again.

14 SNOW SQUAW – Her only victory came with a narrow success in a maiden and she’s only shown fair form of late, hitting the frame but beaten a fair way. More is needed to take this and she can only be given an each way chance at best.
