7.45pm Wolverhampton Tips & Betting Preview 19/11/2016

This 0-75 Handicap should be run at a good clip and a few runners will fancy their chances tonight.

IN SUMMARY: So It’s War can be expected to improve upon his 5th at Newcastle last month and if he can improve on that will have solid chances of running into a place. Malaysian Boleh has the best form on show with an eye-catching run at Newcastle 12 days ago and if running up to that mark will go close. He will need to be at his best however to trouble INAAM who has won over C&D and should be up to taking a race like this. His yard remain in flying form and he should be tough to beat tonight from a decent draw.

1 Personal Touch – Previously won over C&D back in June 2015 and followed up immediately in an 8-runner affair at Ayr the next time winning cosily by a length. Struggled to find anything like that form in 12 runs since especially disappointing when only 5th of 9 at Newcastle last month. Will appreciate a return to this track but hard to make a case for in this line-up.

2 Mr Christopher – Winner over C&D here back in April, scoring nicely by 2 lengths over a strongly run 5f. Last of 5 runners at Kempton over slightly further last month at Kempton and has cheek-pieces back on tonight. Might struggle against a few of these unless they have a positive effect.

3 So It’s War – Hasn’t won since May 2015 when back-to-back winner at Redcar and Beverley. 5th of 13 in a similar event at Newcastle last month and that was decent enough run for the grade and could be set for a bold show if improving on that.

4 Perfect Alchemy – Won two events on the AW in February, winning tidily at Kempton and then Lingfield by small margins. Not really shown that level of form since and despite finishing 6th of 10 at Chelmsford last month really needs to up his game today to get involved.

5 Light From Mars – Last win at Kempton on the AW back in January. Has won 3 times over C&D the last being in 2013. Ok run to finish 6th of 14 at Kempton last month and will probably need a bit of luck in running to get his head in front today.

6 Pick A Little – Previous C&D winner and won a decent race at Brighton in September, making headway late on to score by ¾ length. Only finished 6th o 13 at Chelmsford 3 weeks ago but was a badly hampered. If getting a clear run, he can fill a place again today.

7 Inaam – Finished 4th in a 9 runner Handicap at Chelmsford 3 weeks ago and won here over 7f back in January when winning by 1 ¾ lengths. The Fahey team remain in good form and looks competitive on best of form. Big chance.

8 Malaysian Boleh – Won at Brighton in April when well backed into favouritism and duly obliged that day winning by ½ length. 11 runs since and has generally been holding his form. A previous C&D winner albeit in a 0-70 and has a good chance on best form with his close 3rd at Newcastle 12 days ago looking the best form on offer. Player.

9 Doctor Bong – Previously trained by Andrew Balding and last of 14 in a Leicester Handicap over 7f 26 days ago. A tongue strap was worn that day and blinkers back on today. Has a lot to prove.

10 Qortaaj – Finished a close 3rd at Kempton 18 days ago at big odds wearing a tongue strap for the first time. That was his best run since July but improvement unlikely when turned out again quickly and will struggle against this bunch.

11 Spryt – 5th of 7 in a claimer at Chelmsford 16 days ago when applying cheek-pieces for the 1st time. Likely big price again and hard to fancy.

12 Arize – Won at odds of 8/1 here in September, comfortably winning by 1 length but unable to follow up next time coming last of 10 at Chelmsford. Tough assignment again today and will find a few too good again.
