IN SUMMARY: PEACH MELBA is yet to run on this surface, but she has plenty in hand on these on official ratings. Winner of a Listed race in Germany last time, she should have little trouble disposing of these. Rajar has shown her best infrequently this season, but she is the second best at the weights so is the clear danger. Bumptious and Toy Theatre may fight things out for the minor placings.

1 PEACH MELBA – Rapid improver since mid summer, she was seen most recently in Germany winning at Listed level. Five pounds plus in hand at the weights, first run on Tapeta but tough to oppose given she holds by far the strongest form in the field.

2 BUMPTIOUS – Tapeta debut, but career best has come this season on Polytrack at Chelmsford. A mark of 84 leaves her with improvement to find if she is to be troubling the principals, but she is steadily progressive and may grab a place.

3 SEXY LEGS – Frustrating type, picked up a Tapeta maiden in September. Sports first time cheekpieces which may produce some improvement, but she has an awful lot on her plate at the weights with the majority of these.

4 SHOW STEALER – Slipped back to a winnable mark, proving herself on synthetics the last twice. Stayed on well over six furlongs last time but is yet to prove that she really wants this extra furlong. Others preferred on this occasion.

5 PEPITA – Broke her duck over this trip at Kempton in February, campaigned primarily at shorter on turf. Capable of running to marks in the mid eighties on her best, would need more if she is to win this.

6 RAJAR – Second best in at the weights, she has rarely hit her best since returning from Meydan. Her best form is on quick turf so Tapeta isn’t an issue (placed on debut on it) main danger to the favourite if able to show her true form.

7 TAEL O’ GOLD – Lowest rated in the field by a considerable margin. A first time tongue strap would have to produce a miracle for her to even beat one home.

8 TOY THEATRE – Arrives looking for a hat-trick after a pair of small handicap wins at this trip. Her two best runs on synthetics have come here so despite having plenty to find at the weights, she may find herself in the fight for the minor placings.
