He should be capable of further improvement which very much makes him the one to beat, with Vettori Rules setting at least a solid pace for him to aim at. Azam didn’t appear to stay when trying this trip for the first time at Kempton but he travelled like a dream on that occasion. This is a slightly easier test at the trip than Kempton so he may prove to be the biggest threat to the selection.
