A competitive looking chase over the minimum trip for a prize of £6,498. Read on for expert analysis and betting tips.

IN SUMMARY: NOMOREBLACKJACK has the profile of a very progressive horse and can shrug off his latest rise and go in for the third time in four starts. Little Pop has been in good nick recently and should go well again.

DEGOOCH – Took advantage of a mark of 122 over fences a few starts ago to win by ten lengths, but has fallen and been subsequently well beaten since. His current mark is probably slightly beyond him and others are more appealing.

FAIR LOCH – Ran no sort of race when pulled up on his last visit to a racecourse in May. Has been given a long break which may have freshened him up, but he remains difficult to recommend following such a poor performance.

NOMOREBLACKJACK – Rose a massive 25lbs in the handicap over fences to a mark of 125 after a good second followed by two easy victories. Most likely still improving judging by the manner of his wins and he should go well again under Danny Cook.

LITTLE POP – A progressive sort who has a solid strike rate of four wins from nine starts over fences. Enjoys good ground and has a profile with a lot to recommend. The form of the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard is a slight concern, but he should make his presence felt.

NICHOLAS CHAUVIN – Lost his way for Nicky Henderson and the switch to James Moffatt has yet to bear fruit. He has been beaten a decent way in all his starts for the yard and, despite tumbling down the weights, he will likely find one too good here.

TODAY PLEASE – Beaten just over a length on his last start over fences back in May and the handicapper has surprisingly dropped him 1lb for what looked a very solid effort. A repeat of that off a slightly lower weight would leave him with an obvious chance.

DEADLY APPROACH – Bolted up by 11 lengths four starts ago, but was hit with a hefty rise of 13lbs for his troubles and has since struggled off his revised mark. Will need to improve again to get involved here.

MUWALLA – Was beaten five lengths by today’s rival Little Pop earlier in the season and has it all to do to turn out that form. Hasn’t looked in particularly good form as of late and will likely struggle again from a win perspective.
