4.50pm Kempton tips for Sunday’s Class 4 contest raced over 3m for four year-olds and older. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: This race should be between Upbeat Cobbler and BETTER DAYS and the latter can come out on top. He will improve for a recent run at Market Rasen and the step back up in trip can see him home in-front of Upbeat Cobbler who goes well fresh and looks to be lingering on a fair mark.

1 THEATRE MILL – Has shown limited form on his last two starts, beaten a combined 86 lengths. He’s been dropped 2lbs for his latest effort but he has major questions to answer over fences and he may be best watched in this now stepped right up in trip.

2 BETTER DAYS – Will improve for a recent run at Market Rasen when beaten a fair way. He is likely to have found the trip too short and he should show plenty of improvement now back over further. A mark of 113 looks reasonable although he will have to take another step forward this season.

3 COURT DISMISSED – Has done well this year with two wins and a couple of placed efforts. He fell when struggling at Sedgefield last time out and the handicapper may be catching up with him. The step back up in trip is positive but he arrives here with something to prove.

4 HEROES OR GHOSTS – One win from 16 starts does little to inspire confidence and he’s 3lbs higher than his sole winning mark. The step up in trip does look to be improving him gradually but he needs to step forward again today. Richard Johnson gets off him to ride Upbeat Cobbler.

5 RAMORE WILL – Won a muddling race on chase debut having been sent for home early. He was left in-front at the last and the handicapper has raised him 5lbs for the success although the official winning distance flatters him. There should be more to come but a rating of 110 is a career high mark.

6 FIGHT COMMANDER – Seeks his first win since February 2016 and he’s only won once in 13 starts. He posted a much improved effort last time out at Fontwell at the end of last season when only beaten a length in first time blinkers. They’re left off today and he may just need this run.

7 UPBEAT COBBLER – 6 wins from 27 starts is a decent haul for Henry Daly’s mare and she likes to be kept fresh. She arrives here off a 160-day break and she should be spot on off a mark of 109 which leaves her just one pound above her last winning mark. Respected with Richard Johnson booked to ride.
