Alastair Ralph sends two runners on the 600-mile round trip to Musselburgh

Tough to get a strong angle on this race with many of the field badly out of form at present. Start Time made an encouraging return to action when third at Thirsk in April, but an inconsistent profile suggests he is no good thing to back that up and SHORT WORK is supported to return to winning ways for David O’Meara. This five-year-old has cut little ice in three starts so far this season but is now two pounds lower than his last winning handicap mark and experiences his optimum conditions today.
