3.40pm Leicester Tips & Betting Preview 01/12/2016

10 runners will gallop to post for the final race of the day at Leicester. See our betting tips and full race preview below.

IN SUMMARY: This can go the way of TIRADIA, who is running respectably of late and has the services of Brian Hughes to help today. He rarely runs a bad race and his consistency has got to pay off at some point and that may well be today. Dangers include Bobble Boru who was much improved latest and Levelling who is with another new yard but still has potential.

1 BOBBLE BORU – Average form before positives tactics by Stan Sheppard paid dividends latest at Chepstow (2m, Good to Soft) as she notched up his 5th career victory. Up 6lb but that rise looks pretty fair and interesting if same tactics are employed today.

2 LEVELLING – Decent enough 6th in a Southwell handicap latest (1m7f, Good) and although he has changed hands again and is now with laura Morgan, he still remains with potential after only 7 runs and has each way claims if improving again.

3 TIRADIA – Both wins came in 2014 but has been running consistently of late and posted a decent effort when 3rd of 14 at Huntingdon latest (2m3f, Good). Drop back in trip doesn’t hold many fears and his consistency is bound to pay off soon in fields such as these and he may well be able to take advantage today.

4 CAPRICE D’ANGLAIS – Maiden after 12 runs and has struggled the last twice in handicaps for the Hodson hard and is tried in new headgear today. No worthwhile form yet and therefore best watched.

5 AMANTIUS – Has showed decent enough promise in his last two runs, the latest of which when a 2nd at Uttoxeter albeit a long way behind the winner (2m, Soft). A big player off the back of those two performances and therefore respected today.

6 SINOUR – 0-24 but did run a very big race at Chepstow latest in a very close 25/1 3rd (2m, Good to Soft). Could well be dangerous today if building on that and considered for placings.

7 DIAMOND TAMMY – Is now lying on a very dangerous mark but hasn’t show anything in his last 3 runs and is 1-14 over these obstacles. Best left alone.

8 ROSE RED – Not shown much of late and very inconsistent regardless, well held on her previous two starts also. Doesn’t make much appeal.

9 PEPPERELLO – Has shown nothing in 12 runs including at Huntingdon when going off at odds of 300/1. Makes absolutely no appeal.

10 CALLAGHAN – Very modest maiden under both codes and needs a huge amount of progress on handicap hurdle debut to feature in this, which is very unlikely.

Myracing Forecast Prices: 2/1 Bobble Boru, 3/1 Amantius, 7/2 Tiradia, 5/1 Sinour, 8/1 Levelling, 14/1 Caprice D’Anglais, 20/1 Rose Red, 25/1 Diamond Tammy, 33/1 Callaghan, 100/1 Pepperello
