IN SUMMARY: Monday Club won a similar race last time out and has to be respected, as does Jocks Wa Hae who has won a few handicaps over further. However MUROOR might well be out of form at present, but he’s bounced back from similar runs in the past and with the O’Meara yard in form, it is probably time he did just that. The weights favour him today to quite a degree and it’d be disappointing to see him fail again.

1 JOCKS WA HAE – Didn’t stay 1m4f latest but form before that was solid, winning over 1m1f twice in the past at Hamilton. Seems versatile in terms of run styles and ground and should run well if on a going day today.

2 MONDAY CLUB – Stormed clear in 4 runner 1m2f Chepstow Seller in September and on that basis he has to be respected. Form however has been patchy in the past and hard to trust that he will replicate that it.

3 BURNSIDE – Hasn’t achieved a great deal in his 4 runs to date, but is down in grade today and the visor is added for this run. Ian Williams’ yard is in good order at present and has to be feared with all factors considered.

4 MUROOR – Has the best form in this field by far and is weighted best of all for the in form O’Meara yard. Form has been quite lacklustre the last twice and the hood is refitted for today’s run, but he has bounced back from poor runs before and Jamie Spencer now takes over. Would be a huge disappointment if he wasn’t to be right there.

5 PLAYFUL DUDE – Been slowly regressing on recent evidence and pulled very hard on AW debut latest at Chelmsford (1m, Standard). Not really convinced he can get involved today.

6 OCCASIONAL DREAM – Average to poor form on first three runs around 1m before suffering a heavy defeat over 1m2f at Chelmsford latest on the all weather. Stamina to prove and not a convincing profile.

7 ZEBEDEE’S GIRL – Moderate form in trips up to 1m since debut and is upped in trip today in the first time blinkers. Did make some slight late progress over 1m latest at Ffos Las latest so this step up in trip might help and not completely discounted.
