2.55pm Newmarket Tips & Betting Preview 03/11/2017

2.55pm Newmarket tips for Friday’s Class 3 race. A depleted field go to post for this 1m 4f Handicap but it promises to still be a very tight affair. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: STAR STORY makes her handicap debut off a mark of 74 which looks lenient based on her close second at Salisbury two starts ago. She perhaps needed her seasonal debut at Epsom and heavier ground wasn’t ideal, so she should be more than up to passing this test with flying colours under three pound claimer George Wood. Donnachies Girl only found an in-form contender too good on her latest start and the pair pulled well clear, so she is a strong candidate.

1 FLEABISCUIT – Won on debut for Hugo Palmer in the style of a potentially useful horse and she was understandably out-classed in the 2016 Fillies’ Mile when last seen. That was over a year ago now though and although she’s not badly treated on handicap debut. If market signs are positive she’s one to pay attention to.

2 ALL MY LOVE – Got back into the winner’s enclosure on her latest start at Catterick, storming clear by five lengths and she’s up seven pounds today. The main concern for her is the firm ground though and may just be what scuppers her today.

4 DONNACHIES GIRL – Has been running well of late without gaining another victory, only beaten by an in-form rival when second at Musselburgh by a head last month. She’s only two pounds higher here and is a leading player as she goes on firmer ground.

5 STAR STORY – Has only run three times for Ralph Beckett, with heavier ground a viable excuse for her latest poor run at Epsom. Firmer ground should see her in a better light and with a mark of 74 very lenient on handicap debut, she should be more than up to this.
