Plenty of untapped talent on show in this race but none more so than John Gosden’s SCOTTISH JIG who looked as if she needed the run and the experience on her debut at Kempton when beaten less than six lengths in seventh after getting squeezed for room and intimidated early on. With her stable and jockey in great form better is expected now, and she can come home alone in this less exacting field.
