2.20pm Kempton Tips & Betting Preview 06/11/2017

2.20pm Kempton tips for Monday’s Class 4 race. Fascinating mile handicap with a number of solid fillies in opposition chasing a first prize of nearly £6,500. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: LUCY THE PAINTER has run well to a point in far deeper contests than this all season, her mark slipping down. Her last two wins have come at this trip with her other pair at shorter so perhaps the step down from middle distances will see her back in form. Express Lady looks her biggest danger, a solid performance last time at Newcastle where shaping as if the step up to this trip would suit. Bint Dandy may get a soft time of things on the front end which makes her dangerous at Class 4 level.

1 TAI HANG DRAGON – Progressive earlier in the season, her handicap mark suffering when only beaten two lengths in a Sandown Listed race in July. That race has worked out poorly and while this is a drop in class, she is still twelve pounds above her last winning mark.

2 BINT DANDY – Slipped down the weights this season, five pounds lower than when placed here in January. The very best of her form has come elsewhere but she would be dangerous with a soft lead in this small field.

3 LUCY THE PAINTER – Poor season at middle distances, she comes back to a mile fitted with first time blinkers. Her best form has actually come at this trip so from such a tempting mark, she looks far too big a price.

4 KITTY BOO – Off the mark at the seventh time of asking at Chelmsford, she ran well below that last time. Placed on both runs here, she is capable of making her presence felt if that most recent run can be excused.

5 CONSIDERED OPINION – Not gone forward since her promising debut, some way short of that form last time when justifying short odds. Open to improvement not she is handicapping at a trip that suits, but her opening task isn’t an easy one on her last two efforts.

6 INFLUENT – Course and distance win here flanked by lesser stats , including on her handicap debut. Her mark is unchanged and despite the smaller field, this is a more competitive contest. Needs to up her game considerably to win.

7 EXPRESS LADY – Well behind Tai Hang Dragon on her handicap debut when too keen, a hood helped last time. That was her first run for eleven weeks so is entitled to come on for it, with a step up in trip potentially suiting on the way she came home.

8 LADY LYDIA – Struggled badly since winning at Wolverhampton in March when fitted with a tongue strap and cheekpieces for the first time. The former is removed here, she needs a much improved performance to get anywhere close.
