2.10pm Wincanton tips for Sunday’s Class 4 race. A really interesting two and a half mile handicap chase, a number of these in here looking capable of better than their current mark. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: FARM THE ROCK has faced some stiff tests under rules so far. This mark looks very workable so he looks over priced in a race where he is taking on much lesser company. Bogarius should be in for a good season over fences this year as an ex point to pointer. He and Wilberdragon who sports cheekpieces for the first time look the main dangers. Ken’s Well had some decent form in Ireland, it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

1 FAVORITO BUCK’S – Yet to get within twenty-four lengths of a winner in this country, he showed no improvement for going over fences last season. Surely capable of better than this mark when it eventually clicks but hard to trust fully.

2 BOAGRIUS – Won first time up last season over two miles at Catterick. The winner of a three mile point to point, he should do better over fences this season. Tom George has made a slow start to the campaign, but still one of the more likely ones.

3 GOLD MOUNTAIN – Decent form on spring ground, winning over just shy of three miles. Stayed on too late in the piece when dropped to this trip when last seen so is going to need them to go hard in front to get involved.

4 COMPADRE – Wide margin winner on bumper debut, he failed to go on from there over hurdles. Showed a little more switched to fences on good ground in the spring over three miles. Ground suits but four pounds higher for that beating doesn’t make this an easy task.

5 KEN’S WELL – Sound form in Ireland on good ground before joining Jo Davis. Has the potential to be a better chaser, though might need the first run for this new yard to put him straight.

6 WILBERDRAGON – Two and a half years since his last win, he regressed last season over fences. Showed more sparkle on his Fontwell return this go around, an each way chance if building on that in first time cheekpieces.

7 BRADFORD BRIDGE – Didn’t appear to enjoy chasing on his debut when pulled up at Fontwell. A long way behind Wilberdragon there, that leaves him with plenty to prove, for all that he does strike as the type to be a better chaser in time.

8 FARM THE ROCK – Point to point winner has faced some tough tasks under rules so far. The balance of his form makes him look well capable of competing off this kind of mark, one of the more interesting ones.

9 NEVER LEARN – Wasn’t a cheap purchase, failing to live up to that so far. He has shown glimmers of promise over both two and three miles, without looking like a winner in the near future. A first time tongue strap may help him produce more but it will have to.

10 POLKARENIX – Has travelled well on more that one occasion, without having the finishing effort to go with it. Continues to slide down the weights but this trip has looked to stretch him in the past.
