A decent little pot for this mare’s race and with the top two yards represented this should develop into a match.

IN SUMMARY: Shattered Love will be popular with punters especially as she made a race of it against Airlie Beach a couple of weeks ago and will go close. It should turn into a match against LET’S DANCE who was close to being one of the best juvenile hurdlers last year based on her performance in a couple of Grade 1’s in the Spring and she will be tough to beat especially in receipt of weight from her rivals.

1 Jenny’s Melody – Useful hurdler on her day having rattled up a hat-trick in early 2015 with facile wins at Newcastle, Sedgefield and then Ayr. Poor comeback run at Carlisle 19 days ago but that was after over 18 months off and can be forgiven that poor run. Market will guide but will find it tough against top two.

2 Ros Brin – Last seen winning a Handicap Chase over 2m4f at Fairyhouse 2 years ago and that was a career best. Reverts back to hurdles and up against it in this company.

3 Sweet Cherry – Dual-purpose runner who reverts from the flat to hurdles today after finishing 19th of 23 runners at Leopardstown 27 days ago. Last win came at Killarney in April when winning a 14-runner affair by 5 ½ lengths. Well backed into 2nd favourite that day but only fair form since and will find it hard in conditions that are far from ideal.

4 Shattered Love – Won on seasonal debut in a 2m event at Tipperary in October on good-soft, easily accounting for her rivals by 31/4 lengths. Close second behind Airlie Beach last time out in a Grade 3 at Down Royal and yard continue to fire in the winners and another bold show likely.

5 Let’s Dance – Landed massively cramped odds in May at Sligo when scoring by 8 ½ lengths. Won easily that day and was far from her best given she was not far off being one of the best juvenile hurdlers last year. In receipt of 3lb, she will improve for that and will be hard to beat for her in-form yard.
