1.00pm Exeter Tips & Betting Preview 09/11/2016

The opener on Exeter’s card is full of intrigue, as much will come down how much rain comes down overnight. See our full race preview and our betting tips below.

IN SUMMARY: The whole complexion of this race will depend how much rain comes down overnight, and with the likelihood of there being enough to change the going it may be worth siding with DESERT SENSATION. He spoiled his chances latest by refusing to settle in a Conditional Jockey’s race, but has Aiden Coleman to do the steering today which will hopefully help with that. His stamina is proven and he will prefer the ground being softer, so he should relish today’s challenge. Expedite should run well upped in trip and Red Admirable will be right at home if this turns into a stamina test off of a good mark.

1 KALIFOURCHON – Cheekpeices and tongue-tie are enlisted after a decent 4th at Sedgefield over much further latest (3m3f, Good). Has to be considered back down in trip but seems high enough in the weights at present.

2 GARY CHARM – Posted some decent efforts in France while with F-M Cottin but hasn’t achieved much so far in England with two poor efforts over fences and goes back to hurdles bidding for a revival. Can’t recommend.

3 EXPEDITE – Beaten favourite latest but back to form when 3rd over 2m5f at Newton Abbot last month. Upped in distance today which should suit judging by pedigree and Ben Pauling’s yard is starting to warm up, so has to be considered a main danger with Nico De Boinville up and first time head gear enlisted.

4 BENDOMINGO – 0-10 under rules but ran well latest at Ffos Las in defeat (2m4f, Good). Being upped in trip could well help eek out some more improvement and Twiston-Davies’ yard is going well at present, but wont want the imminent rain to come, which tempers enthusiasm.

5 DESERT SENSATION – Won easily by 10l at Fontwell on penultimate start, although he looked to be idling and had to be kept up to his work (3m1f, Soft). Ruined any chance of victory when pulling very hard at Aintree latest (3m, Good) in a Conditional Jockey’s event and Aiden Coleman taking over should help stop that. His stamina is assured today and the rain is more than welcome, so should run well and has to have a huge chance of winning again.

6 RED ADMIRABLE – 10yo who returns to hurdling after starting to falter over fences. On a good mark and if the rain comes he will relish a good stamina test so may well be involved for places.

myracing Forecast Prices: 15/8 Expedite, 2/1 Desert Sensation, 10/3 Bendomingo, 6/1 Kalifourchon, 10/1 Red Admirable, 18/1 Gary Charm
