2.30pm Huntingdon Tips & Betting Preview 11/10/2016

Our race preview takes a look at an interesting Handicap Chase at Huntingdon where we look to appose the long odds on favourite with an old timer who hasn’t given up the ghost just yet.

IN SUMMARY: There is no doubt Innocent Girl has very strong claims as she goes goes for a 3rd win in 9 days. She will be very hard to beat under a 7lb penalty, but it might be worth taking a chance on ACCESSALLAREAS. He was a good 2nd at Hereford on Thursday and seems to like small gaps between runs. He can also race off of 2lb lower today and if jumping well he might be able to push the odds on favourite hard under the Champion Jockey.

1 PERFECT TIMING – Back to form when a good 2nd at Perth latest (2m4f, Good to Soft) and shouldn’t be far away if repeating that form for his inform stable (Mulholland). However he does concede a lot of weight all around which is a concern but has place chances at least.

2 TREGARO – Certainly well handicapped but has been a no show on his latest 3 runs, with form figures of 9PP. Only run once this season but has too much too prove to be recommended today.

3 MISTER DICK – This is tougher than his chase debut at Stratford in August, but he did it in taking fashion. Should surely improve for that and there is no reason why he shouldn’t be involved today.

4 PRIMA VISTA – NR

5 ACCESSALLAREAS – Was a good 2nd at Hereford on Thursday (2m, Good) and can run today off of 2lb lower. Judging by previous efforts he won’t mind this step up in distance, having won over 2m3f in the past and the gap between races isn’t an issue either. Although the oldest in the field, this old timer certainly isn’t giving up and has the services of Johnson to help him out, so has to have a chance today.

6 INNOCENT GIRL – Bids for a 9 day Hat-Trick after winning at both Southwell (Fences) and Towcester (Hurdles). Has to have a huge chance of notching up another win off of only 7lb higher, but there is a question mark as to whether she can cope with all this racing in such a short period of time.

7 LARTETA – 1-34 under rules, but showed a slight piece of encouragement when 3rd at Stratford on penultimate start off of a much reduced mark. If running to his best,  he is extremely well handicapped, but even with that slight encouragement, its not enough to recommend today.
