A winner over 3m1f at Hereford in November, things haven’t quite gone to plan since. He was well beaten when third of three back at Hereford last time out and pulled up over a marathon trip at Market Rasen on his penultimate start. Dropping back to an extended 2m3f here, this trip might be more suitable on soft ground as he didn’t get home last time out. The handicapper has also dropped him 4lb which can only help.
