Nigel Twiston-Davies Stable Update 19/05/2018

Nigel Twiston-Davies

Busy busy busy for the Nigel Twiston-Davies stable again this weekend but Nigel sounded very upbeat when we spoke to him this morning so every chance of a pretty profitable weekend by the sound of things.

Nigel’s Number One Bet

One Forty Seven 4.00pm Bangor Saturday

“First time out over fences this afternoon but he did win a point to point and I think he may have a pretty decent future over fences. He was a decent enough second at Huntingdon on his last outing over hurdles and I think he can go on from that and win at the first time of asking over the larger obstacles.”

This Weekend:

Equus Millar 2.50pm Bangor Saturday

“He won a shade cleverly last time out on his first handicap at Ludlow and he continues to work well so I can see no reason why he won’t follow up this afternoon. Only a five-year-old I am more than hopeful he has a lot more to offer and with conditions looking ideal I anticipate a huge run.”

Chase Me 5.30pm Uttoxeter Saturday

“First time cheekpieces this evening ought to bring about plenty of improvement on his first run for me after leaving Sarah Hollinshead. Obviously we are still learning about him but he is working and schooling well enough to suggest he can win a race or two and I am hopeful more than confident that this could be one of them.”
