Punchestown Festival Tips Day Four

Hunter Chasers get the card started over two and a half miles before a fiercely competitive Grade A Novice Handicap Chase over slightly further worth €100,000.

A Grade B Mares Handicap Chase over the same distance follows before the feature race of the day, the Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

Willie Mullins has had tremendous success in the day four feature, lifting the trophy seven of the last nine times, so anything he runs has to be significantly noted.

The Alanna Homes Champion Novice Hurdle is the second and final contest of the highest level on Friday over two and a half miles.
