Airbus v Haverfordwest

These two sides have produced some high scoring games in recent years, and although Haverfordwest have struggled so far this season, they face a side in Airbus, who have have conceded in 8 goals in their last 4 home games. Haverfordwest on the other hand have managed to pick things up on their travels on late, winning their last two on the road, scoring 6 goals. BTTS looks on the cards in this one.

Leicester v Arsenal

Leicester have been one of the surprise packages of the Premier League this season, sitting 4th after 6 games with an impressive 12 points, and have had Both Teams To Score in every one of their league games in tis season. Arsenal will be looking to bounce back in the league after a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, and there should be plenty of goals in this one with the winner potentially moving into the top 3.

Swindon v Colchester

As BTTS goes, this one looks to be about as good as it gets today. Colchester at the moment only seem to be involved in high scoring games, scoring 9 and conceding no fewer than 11 goals from their last 5 games. Swindon have also conceded in each of their last 5 home games, and although haven’t been as frequent in front of goal themselves, they should get plenty of opportunities today against a side who simply can’t stop conceding.

Kilmarnock v Hamilton

Kilmarnock have scored and conceded in 4 of their last 5 home games, scoring 10 and conceding 11. Hamilton have also conceded plenty of goals on their travels, and while not quite scoring as much, this is a good opportunity against a side who have failed to keep a clean sheet at home in their last 5.

Barnsley v Gillingham

Gillingham have emerged as one of the early promotion candidates this season; however, on their travels they have made a habit of conceding goals (7 from their last 5). Meanwhile Barnsley have scored 9 in their last 5 home games. At the same time, both of these side carry a decent attacking threat and you’d expect them to manage at least a goal each in this encounter.

Bradford v Peterborough

Sitting in 12th and 18th places, both Bradford and Peterborough boast similar records in the league so far. Bradford have scored 9 and conceded 11, while the visiting side today have scored 12 and conceded 13. Although they are evenly matched, it is highly likely that both will see this as a game to win, and thus we could be in for a good encounter. Peterborough have conceded in each of their last 5 away games, while Bradford have conceded in 4 of their last 5 home games. BTTS looks a likely outcome in this one.

Bristol Rovers v Portsmouth

With Portsmouth currently going strongly in 2nd and Bristol Rovers treading water in 15th, this one looks a bit more of a mismatch on paper than the other five. However, Portsmouth are one of the leagues stronger sides and are usually good value for goal and will no doubt be looking to keep their good start going, they are thus likely to come here and attack. This in turn should create plenty of counter attacking opportunities for the home side, who should be able to manage a goal themselves.
