7.40pm Kempton tips for Wednesday’s Class 4 contest raced over 1m 4f for three year-olds and older. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.
IN SUMMARY: The Alex Hales trained ISAAC BELL is lightly-raced on the All-Weather and the handicapper has been very generous by raising him just 2lbs for an excellent effort last time out. He can improve again and win ahead of Cliff Face who could well bounce back to form now dropped in grade tried in first-time blinkers.
1 LANGLAUF – Looks to be a much better filly on the All-Weather than the turf so she can be forgiven for some poor runs lately on Good and Good to Soft ground. A mark of 85 remains challenging but she deserves her chance on the form of her last All-Weather success.
2 SUNBLAZER – Races off a 3lb higher mark following a 3/4 length success at Newmarket earlier in the month. He took advantage of a falling mark that day and it’s likely there is more to come although the drop in trip isn’t ideal against some speedier sorts.
3 CLIFF FACE – C&D winner racing off a 4lb higher mark than her last success which came in a Class 4 event late last year. This looks to be his grade and the presence of first-time blinkers looks promising now dropped back into this weaker grade.
4 ISAAC BELL – Twice raced on the All-Weather but he’s won one of those starts and placed on the other. A mark of 83 should remain within reach having done well in a stronger race than this last time out and this C&D winner should go well.
6 VOGUEATTI – Breeding suggests Marco Botti’s runner may be stretched over middle distances and she had little in the finish when tried over 1m 4f earlier in the year. A mark of 79 looks reasonable based on a handicap success at Chelmsford earlier in the year but the trip is a concern. Adam Kirby is booked.
7 SONG OF LOVE – Ex-Joseph O’Brien runner who has done little since arriving at Shaun Harris’ yard. He’s slipping down the weights at a slow pace and he’s likely to start as one of the outsiders in this contest with reason.
8 SNOWY WINTER – Smart filly who seeks her fifth career success in 11 starts today. She seeks a hat-trick following a C&D win last time out and her 3yo allowance leaves her on good terms with her older rivals. Respected.
9 YAMARHABA MALAYEEN – Lightly-raced Rip Van Winkle colt making his fourth start today. He looked to need his first run over C&D last time out having switched yards and a mark of 80 should be achievable. Daniel Tudhope is a positive booking.
10 ENTANGLING – Chris Wall’s son of Fastnet Rock should continue to improve the further he goes so today’s step up in trip is positive. He has won and placed in his last couple of starts and a mark of 79 looks generous. Silvestre De Sousa rides again.
11 NORTHWEST FRONTIER – Sole success came in a maiden earlier in the year on his second start. He’s produced mixed form in handicaps since over varying trips and he may be best watched today although connections are yet to have got to the bottom of this son of Galileo. Races in first-time blinkers.
12 KATH’S LEGACY – One win from 17 starts is little to shout about and this filly makes her first start for Richard Hughes today. She was pulled up most recently at Newbury and she looks to have little interest in the game at present. She tries 1m 4f for the first time today.
14 BAMAKO DU CHATELET – Undoubtedly a much better animal on the All-Weather than turf although his last start at Wolverhampton was poor just 2 days ago. A mark of 71 remains high enough on his form at present and others make more appeal.
