IN SUMMARY: UNDEFINED BEAUTY has been on a sharp upward curve since joining Olly Murphy and can continue her progression and complete the hat-trick here. Miss Night Owl will likely provide the stiffest opposition back down in class today having been outclassed last time in listed company.

1 MISS NIGHT OWL – Notched up a hat-trick including when winning by a short head off a mark of 125 on her reappearance in October. She found a listed race at Wetherby much too hot behind La Bague Au Roi last time but there’s no disgrace in that and she’s respected back down to a more realistic level.

2 APACHE SONG – A former flat horse who has had just three starts over hurdles to date and filled each spot on the podium once. She improved to get off the mark last time but a mark of 119 doesn’t look a gift from the handicapper and she will have to take a step forward to win off today’s weight.

3 UNDEFINED BEAUTY – One of many that has improved no end for the switch to young trainer Olly Murphy and since going down by a neck on stable debut she has won twice. She travelled well throughout in both those wins and was well on top at the line on both occasions so is one to take seriously again.

4 STEPOVER – Has won three times this year and looked as if she still had potential for further successes when beaten a short head last time at Southwell off three pounds lower. This looks a decent race for the field size though and she needs a bit more improvement to be winning.

5 EASTERN LADY – Has got very little form in the book from novice hurdles which jumps off the page as interesting and she races from fourteen pounds out of the handicap here. It would take a monumental effort were she to win this.
