IN SUMMARY: Ominotago did well to finish second for Michael Appleby last time at Wolverhampton and should go close in this with the yard beginning to hit top form on the AW this Winter. She should be popular in the betting ring but a chance is taken on VISION OF BEAUTY however who has also shown good form in two starts over slightly further so far and this drop in trip should suit under her fine jockey who is riding full of confidence at the moment and she can prove too strong for the likely favourite.

1 Ominotago – Still a maiden after five runs but has shown steady improvement so far and ran her best race so far when a 3¾ lengths runner up to the well backed Flower Of Love at Wolverhampton over 1m4f in November. Yard are hitting form on the AW now this Winter and have plenty of winners at this track so every chance of going one better today if finding the shorter trip to her liking.

2 Paper Faces – Has shown decent enough form in eight runs so far but remains a maiden. Posted her worse performance so far when only eighth of 9 at Chelmsford two weeks ago when stepped up to 1m6f in a minor event. Drop in trip should suit as she has placed form at Kempton over this trip and makes her fibresand debut today. Has had plenty of chances so far and not one to rely on at present.

3 Planet Suite – Filly by Astronomer Royal and related to a couple of winners up to 1¼m. Makes her debut today in a race that won’t take much winning and one to note in the betting given she is bred to handle the surface and market confidence would be interesting.

4 The Grey Hobbit – Only one run so far and didn’t seem to handle the surface when only sixth of 7 in an ordinary maiden at Wolverhampton over 1m5f thirty eight days ago. Didn’t start well that day and will need to be a bit sharper at the off against this opposition. Drop in trip will help but big improvement needed to win.

5 Vision Of Beauty – Has shown good form to finish third on both starts so far at Newcastle and Wolverhampton in maidens over 1m4f on Tapeta. Should continue to improve and looks as if this drop in trip will be right up her street. Makes her fibresand debut today and likely to serve it up to the likely favourite. Big player.
