IN SUMMARY: ROBINSHILL was extremely unlucky not to win last time out having stretched away from the field before unseating, he can gain compensation here at the main expense of Paul Nicholls’ charge Dreamcatching, who should be sharper for his seasonal debut.

1 FOR GOOD MEASURE – Turned in some very solid efforts in handicap hurdles last year including when beaten less than four lengths in a hot looking Cheltenham handicap behind Call To Order, this trip might not be ideal however and others have a fitness advantage.

2 ROBINSHILL – Looked a certain winner on his second start over fences when unseating at the last when in the process of going clear, is up four pounds for that but looked useful in the way he was going to win and is of strong interest.

3 PHOBIAPHILIAC – Ran quite a nice race behind the brilliant Yanworth last time out on his seasonal reappearance but was still well-beaten and that was the theme of his last season, has something to prove still.

4 NEW AGENDA – Has won two hurdles in good style this year and is now sent chasing, looks the type to make up into a decent animal over the bigger obstacles and comes here match fit after a fourth just 18 days ago, considered.

5 JOUEUR BRESILIEN – Was beaten thirteen lengths but not disgraced on his chasing debut last time out, has never really looked like winning in his career to date and faces quicker conditions than he has encountered so far so can be overlooked.

6 FREE STONE HILL – Rarely runs a bad race and has been kept busy over the summer so comes to the race as fit as he could be but hasn’t been winning all that much lately and is a tad more exposed than some of these, should still be there or thereabouts.

7 DREAMCATCHING – Has won three of his last five starts over hurdles and is a generally consistent horse. Makes his chasing debut today and will have been schooled to perfection by Paul Nicholls, seasonal appearance will have blown away any cobwebs and must be considered.
