7.55pm Windsor Tips & Betting Preview 27/06/2016

The 7.55pm Windsor is an intriguing fillies handicap and our race preview gives all of the 7 runners a chance. With five 3 year olds in the lineup it’s an open looking race and our free betting tips have one of the least exposed horses picked out as the most likely winner of the race.

IN SUMMARY: Loose Ends (11/4) has run well in three more competitive contests than this on the All Weather and swapped to turf looks to have a lenient mark for in form trainer David Simcock (6 winners in the last 2 days alone). On breeding Soft ground shouldn’t be a problem while the drop back in trip should suit too. Mikro Polemistis, who had been running well until finishing 9th last time out off this mark and finished 2nd at Redcar on Soft in April at a big price, could be the best value for the forecast.

1 Taurian – A horse with ability to be better than her current mark of 63 but consistently ruins her chance by pulling too hard. Well beaten the last three starts and despite coming down the weights will continue to struggle to see out middle distance trips until she learns to settle.

2 Merry Dancer – Priced up as the overnight favourite following a second win over Course and Distance last time out for her new yard, the 2nd has won since. Has to give Loose Ends nearly a full stone due to her rival’s 3 year old allowance and that will see her struggle to make it three from three over C&D.

3 Matidia – Placed the last twice off similar marks over 1m 4f trips. Will need a new career best to win this despite her three year old allowance and looks in the handicappers’ grasp at the moment without improvement.

4 Sisania – Opening mark of 66 is based off a distant 6th at Newmarket at 50/1 and has been well beaten on both other starts too. No evidence she’ll be suited by Soft ground and while Daniel Muscutt is having a good season (and this is his only ride on the card) difficult to back on what we’ve seen so far.

5 Loose Ends – Improved with each start in maidens on the All Weather at Chelmsford and proved stamina last time out over 13.5 furlongs. Sister Everlong is rated 86 and has run well twice on Soft and looks well in off a mark of 62 with the benefit of a short break following her last start.

6 Mikro Polemistis – Put together a string of three good runs in April and May when finishing placed in each, including twice at big prices, and never in the race at Lingfield last time out. Conditions should be more to her liking today and with first time cheek pieces retained may have more to come.

7 Fun Money – Sixth start but still yet to finish within 7 lengths of a winner over trips from a mile to 1m 2 furlongs. Initial handicap mark of 55 has been dropped 4lb in two handicap starts but with just £423 earnings to her name and her turf debut last time out bringing no improvement remains one to watch.

myracing Forecast Prices: 2/1 Merry Dancer, 11/4 Loose Ends, 4/1 Matidia, 6/1 Mikro Polemistis, 9/1 Sisania, 10/1 Taurian, 25/1 Fun Money
