7.25pm Kempton Tips & Betting Preview 01/11/2017

7.25pm Kempton tips for Wednesday’s Class 3 race. A classy handicap despite the small field over a mile and a half, chasing a first prize of £7,158. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: HAJAAM shows no signs of stopping his winning run, the return to this surface meaning that he is only two pounds above his last winning mark due to a lower mark on synthetics. Al Hamdany looks the biggest danger to the selection, showing solid form in all four visits to the track. Flight Of Fantasy doesn’t look the easiest but she has been placed in all starts on sand so could have a say in the finish if a first time hood helps.

1 AL HAMDANY – Yet to run over this trip but both runs here over a furlong shorter in September suggested that he will improve for it. Performed well in all four starts here, with only twelve races under his belt, he should have more to come. Looks a frame contender.

2 HAJAAM – In flying form, winning four times since the 29th of September. Has a six pound lower mark on this surface than on turf, so is only two pounds higher than his most recent win. His busy spell shows no signs of catching up with him, very much the one to beat.

3 FAIR POWER – Switchback tracks and a gelding operation saw him discover himself in the summer, wins coming at Brighton and Epsom. Not so good over course and distance last time and this is a deeper contest, needs more to get in the mix.

4 YAMARHABA MALAYEEN – Only had three starts in his career, successful his only run here. Steps up half a mile in trip, having yet to run beyond a mile, he shapes as if he will stay further but there is little in his pedigree to suggest he wants this trip. Has a bit to prove.

5 QUOTHQUAN – Bounced back to form last time over a mile and six at Salisbury. That was on heavy ground, the new stamina test suiting well. This is nothing like that kind of test but has at least placed here. Needs a bit more again to follow up.

6 FLIGHT OF FANTASY – Placed in all three starts on synthetics, she has improved since on turf. Stays this trip well but showed signs of temperament last time out so the first time hood will need to work some magic. Well enough treated if it does.

7 EARTHLY – A perfect 2/2 on Polytrack for Ralph Beckett, his form has slipped for his new yard. First time cheekpieces are added on his return to synthetics, just two pounds above his last winning mark. Would appeal more with an eighth runner for a third place each way.
