IN SUMMARY: PETITE JACK operates at an excellent strike rate on the artificial surface and can follow up his win last time out to take this, Middle Kingdom is unexposed and should run a big race but may have to settle for second this time around.

1 PETITE JACK – A very useful performer who made it six from nine on the all weather when beating Abdon last time, has won over course and distance and should make another bold bid for Archie Watson who has been in excellent form of late.

2 ICKYMASHO – Was behind Petite Jack two starts ago and ran respectably in a conditions race last time out, doesn’t look poorly treated on some of his earlier career form and back in handicap company should make her presence felt.

3 PACTOLUS – A mark of 95 is not particularly generous on recent form but has run respectably of late and it would be no surprise for him to run his race again. Needs to step up if he is to get his head in front but not one to discount.

4 MIDDLE KINGDOM – The most unexposed of these having had just two racecourse appearances and won them both, not seen since beating Euginio who is now rated nine pounds higher on 104. Form looks strong and he should go close for the in-form John Gosden.

5 RAINBOW REBEL – Ran respectably when behind a well-handicapped rival last time and should run his race once more, some of these are probably more feasibly handicapped from a winning point of view but he shouldn’t be far away.

6 PLUTONIAN – Absolutely hacked up by ten lengths in a maiden three starts ago but has slightly struggled to contend with a mark in the 90s so far, has still run respectably without quite looking like winning but still has plenty of potential as he is lightly raced.

7 THA’IR – Has dropped a massive fifteen pounds his last starts but rightly so, has looked completely out of sorts as of that and will need a big revival if he is to get involved in what looks a hot race.
