IN SUMMARY: James Fanshawe’s LORD GEORGE looks to be lingering on a kind mark and the first-time tongue tie could get enough out of him to see him take this. Rock Steady can give him the most to think about given he’s likely to improve plenty for a recent outing off a break.

SOLDIER IN ACTION – Races with an eye-watering weight of 10st 1lb today and he’ll do well to give that away on just his fourth All-Weather start. He brings strong form to the stable but he’s there to be shot at today now gunning for his fourth win of the year.

ROCK STEADY – Should improve for a recent outing at Leicester when a well-beaten 8th of 9. He’s racing off a pound lower here which leaves him 7lbs above his last winning mark but that did come on the All-Weather so there are reasons to expect a good showing.

LORD GEORGE –  Seeks his first win since September last year and he’s produced some mixed form in the latter half of this year. He’s dropped another pound today and tried in a first-time tongue tie. He’s one to watch closely in the betting now kept on the All-Weather.

BOITE – Races on the flat for the first time this year having produced mixed form in some solid races over hurdles. His 5 1/4 length defeat in an Ayr handicap earlier in the year is solid enough form but this trip is short enough on the surface.

EVERY CHANCE – Relatively lightly-raced 4yo who did well to win a Wolverhampton handicap from off the pace earlier in the season. He was likely to need his first run off a break in a Claimer last time out and better is expected here. A mark of 90 is fair now right up in trip.

ST MARY’S – Steadily improving filly who did well to win a Nottingham handicap when well-support off a mark of 85 earlier in the month. She ran with credit in a French Listed race which leaves her racing off a career high mark of 90 today. Something to prove.

SUEGIOO – Seeks his first win since May 2014 and 2 wins from 47 career starts is incredibly off-putting. He wasn’t beaten far last time out but that was a 5-runner contest and he races off the same mark again today. Tricky to have confidence in.

CONTINUUM – Another runner on a long losing run (July 2014) and his form needs strong improvement. He’s been dropped 5lbs for an abysmal effort last time out and the switch to the All-Weather for the first time is an interesting move. Best watched.

ROYAL RESERVE – Has been in good form since arriving at David O’Meara’s yard and he was narrowly denied over 1m 3f at this track earlier in the move. He takes a massive step up in trip today but he has run over 2m previously. Silvestre De Sousa is an obvious positive.
