IN SUMMARY: PRESTBURY PARK looks likely to try and make all the running her and thus avoid any kickback, and looks highly likely to do so successfully. His form is way better than anything his rivals can offer and as long as he is still fresh enough at this stage of the season he should come home in front.

PRESTBURY PARK – Two wins from his five starts include a short head defeat of Regulator at Chester in a valuable Class Two event back in early August which he has followed with two solid efforts courtesy of a third at Newmarket over this trip and a fourth at Newbury when weakening quickly on the softer ground. Makes his all-weather debut here but every chance if he handles it, and he may well make all in this field.

MOTOWN MICK – In great form recently with two wins at Chepstow and Windsor, one over six furlongs and the other over a mile, and only beaten by the narrowest of margins over course and distance last time out. He has been put up another eight pounds for that sound effort and ought to find this considerably tougher.

LADY OF ARAN – Improving with every race for trainer Charlie Fellowes and got off the mark at the third attempt over course and distance in early October when seeing off Rotherhithe by a length and a half when only needing to be pushed out in a Class Six Novice Auction Stakes. The second and third that day have both been beaten since and this looks considerably tougher though she is improving race on race and could yet have a say at the finish.

RAINBOW JAZZ – Still a maiden after eight starts and has to run from two pounds out of the handicap here i.e. carries two pounds more than his handicap rating. He did run is best race yet when runner-up to Blacklooks at Leicester on turf last month over this trip and he could go well regardless with any further improvement.

ELSAAKB – Another who has to carry two pounds more than his allotted mark but easy enough to still make a case for after a recent fourth to Lexington Grace at Newmarket in a Class Five Nursery. Beaten a length and three-quarters that day he looked one-paced over this trip and may need further in time to be seen at his best, but then again, the John Gosden yard remain in good form and he could yet surprise.
