3.50pm Plumpton tips for Sunday’s Class Three race. A decent field line-up with over £15,000 to the winner, with a long list of in-form challengers. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: All eyes here will be on KENTFORD HEIRESS who is overdue a win after some solid placed efforts recently and off a sensible racing weight this afternoon less Daniel Sansom’s seven pound claim, she ought to prove difficult to beat here.

1 HOLLY BUSH HENRY – Jamie Moore rides the only last time out winner in this field after the six-year-old scored at Worcester less than a week ago. The blinkers seemed to wake him up nicely that day and if they have the same effect here he ought to be able to get involved in the finish even with his seven-pound penalty.

2 BUGSIE MALONE – Not seen on the track since April and reverts to hurdles after some good efforts over fences with a win at Kempton and a couple of second places. He does go well fresh but may be better over the larger obstacles these days even though the Chris Gordon yard are in good form.

3 MERCERS COURT – Has his first race over hurdles since winning here in October 2016 over shorter but is undoubtedly better handicapped over the smaller obstacles than he is at present over fences. Pulled up when last seen at Stratford and likely to start the outsider in this field and understandably so.

4 LINGUINE – Arrives here fit after running on the flat and races off a rating a pound below that of his last win over hurdles in May 2016. Clearly well handicapped if he can be brought back to his best by Seamus Durack but the yard are going through a quiet patch and he is hard to suggest today.

5 KENTFORD HEIRESS – Second on her last two runs for Seamus Mullins and just loves it at Fontwell with three wins in a row there last year. Rarely runs a bad race and this track should play to her strengths, and although this is a rise in class she looks the class act and ought to get in to the finish here.

6 BYRON BLUE – The eight-year-old is in a good spell of form recently with a win at Southwell in July followed by a good second to Premier Rose at Newton Abbott last time out in late August. He runs off the same rating here and thus has bottom weights and has the form to get involved here with a clear round.
