3.20pm Huntingdon tips for Sunday’s Class 4 race. Interesting staying hurdle, some potentially better class horses in this, early in their handicapping careers. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: MISTER DRIFTER has shown a little promise in novice hurdles but can show much more now handicapping for the first time from a basement mark. Ilewindelilah has been in good form already this season, her runner-up effort franked from last time when the winner followed up in the Durham National. Night Generation does nothing quickly but he has his favoured conditions and should be picking them off from the back late on once more.

1 GENEROUS CHIEF – Coaxed back into form last autumn, he has struggled a little with his mark since. Disappointing on Wednesday at Taunton, needs a quick return to his best if he is to defy topweight here.

2 MISTER DRIFTER – Chaser in the making, he has shown a few glimmers of promise in novice hurdles. Should do better now in low grade handicaps. he is open to bundles of improvement and can get his head in front.

3 NIGHT GENERATION – Doesn’t do anything quickly, plugging on at one pace over this trip at Plumpton last month. The rain there turned the ground against him, each way squeak providing there isn’t too much cut in the ground.

4 HOW ABOUT IT – Feast or famine type, finally dropped to a winnable mark over fences in March. Showed little on his debut for this yard with no runs over hurdles since February 2015. Comfortably passed over.

5 KINGS TEMPTATION – Went close on his handicap debut but stopped quickly last time. A first time tongue strap is fitted now which looks a plus given the way he went out like a light at Exeter. Not sure to want this far, still nine pounds above his runner-up effort last season.

6 SPY IN THE SKY – Had shown next to nothing before her handicap debut last time. Not sure to want this far on pedigree, with a six pound rise for being beaten not the easiest to overcome. Needs another jolt of improvement.

7 BRAVE HELIOS – Inconsistent type, followed up a pair of solid runner-up efforts with two dismal runs. Tough to know what frame of mind he is going to be in here but conditions suit and on a sound enough mark if on a going day.

8 GREY MONK – Three miles on good ground is perfect for him, but he has shown little in the eighteen months since his last win. Got tired late on over this course and distance last time, this requires plenty more.

9 BILLY ELLIOTT – Shown little over hurdles so far, including on handicap debut last time. Steps up to the longest trip he has tried (not sure to suit on pedigree) with first time cheekpieces added. Only for the brave.

10 ILEWINDELILAH – Come back to more like her old form in two runs this season, second to a very progressive one (who has won since) last time. She is lightly raced for her age and having placed from higher in the past looks a big player.

11 SUFFICE – Twice a winner last season over shorter, this is by far the furthest he has tried. Won at this track last autumn, he would have a chance on that form with the ground to suit, but the stamina for this trip has to be taken on trust.
