2.55pm Worcester Tips & Betting Preview 29/09/2016

Our race preview takes a look at Class 4 Handicap Chase at Worcester. See our betting tips below to find a consistent jumper who can notch up a deserved win after a string of good efforts in defeat.

IN SUMMARY: Dealing River ran well when last seen over fences but was poor in his last run over hurdles and has to bounce back. Therefore, ENJOY RESPONSIBLY is a more solid option. His last two runs have been very solid and went close latest at Stratford and off of the same mark, he could be very dangerous. Beswick’s 7lb claim is very useful so there are lots of positives.

1 UPSANDDOWNS – Has ran well over fences in recent times, and his latest effort at here wasn’t a bad effort against a run away winner (2m, Good). Seems a bit high in the weights against some of these and probably will need to find more today.

2 BOX OFFICE – Pretty good hurdler back in 2015 but is yet to shine over fences, with 3 pretty poor efforts thus far. Very well handicapped though and dangerous to discount for Jonjo O’Neil as he may well come good at any stage.

3 ENJOY RESPONSIBLY – Consistent of late with 2 good efforts in defeat, the latest when a close 2nd at Stratford (2m1f, Good). The race before at Bangor (2m1f, Good) he beat a subsequent winner of a Class 3 Race (Owen Na View) and he doesn’t seem too high in the weights at the moment. Beswick’s 7lb claim will prove very useful and the claims are obvious for all to see today.

4 DEALING RIVER – Won over C&D in July before flopping back over hurdles at Market Rasen a week later (2m, Good). The effort over C&D was very solid and that gives him strong claims but needs to bounce back from that very flat effort latest, albeit that was over different obstacles. Potentially risky.

5 BOSS IN BOOTS – Hasn’t run since some dismal efforts last Autumn, where he finished stone dead last in two races running. Did win a point in the spring and has joined a yard who is absolutely flying of late as Tim Vaughan is 8-20 in the last 2 weeks. Still a risky bet though, can only be watched.

6 MODELIGO – Has won twice this spring, the latest of which coming when a narrow winner at this venue in May (2m, Good to Soft). However the latest run at Stratford when a long way behind Enjoy Responsibly was a very poor effort. Doesn’t meet him on much better terms and probably wants the ground softer, so not high on the short list.

7 TIME AND AGAIN – Well beaten in both codes since returning this year, latest when pulled up on chase debut at Sedgefield after a poor display of jumping. Stable 2nd string and can’t be considered.

myracing Forecast Prices: 2/1 Dealing River, 11/4 Enjoy Responsibly, 3/1 Boss In Boots, 6/1 Upsanddowns, 8/1 Box Office, 8/1 Modeligo, 33/1 Time And Again
