2.25pm Ludlow Tips & Betting Preview 16/11/2017

2.25pm Ludlow tips for Thursday’s Class 3 race. A field of six go to post for this interesting Introductory Hurdle at Ludlow on Thursday, with the trip being 2m 5f. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: Cresswell Legend made all on his hurdling debut and he will appreciate this extra yardage, but he won’t get his own way out in front because CREEVYTENNANT will make this a complete test. This plucky thirteen year old was impressive when dismantling a field over fences two starts ago at Perth before only finding a useful rival too good back over hurdles on his latest start. He’s back into calmer waters here and with Lucy Pinchin again claiming seven pounds, he can make all for Fergal O’Brien.

1 CRESSWELL LEGEND – Made good on the promise he showed in bumpers to win his hurdling debut over the 1m 7f trip here in October, making all. He will be better suited to this step up in trip and despite a penalty, he shouldn’t be far away for in form connections.

2 BLOODY NOSE – Showed very little ability in bumpers for Mark Bradstock, well beaten on hurdling debut at Worcester in October. He weakened out of things very tamely and he makes no appeal in this line up.

3 CREEVYTENNANT – Front-runner for Fergal O’Brien who was highly impressive when making all at Perth two starts ago over fences. He only found a useful rival too good at Perth on his latest start back over hurdles and now he’s back in calmer waters, he can make all with Lucy Pinchin claiming seven pounds.

4 HAUL AWAY – Cost 40,000 euros as a four year old for Nicky Henderson, showing plenty of ability on bumper debut at Bangor last month. He will improve for this longer trip and is completely unexposed for top connections, so his claims are obvious.

5 SUPAKALANISTIC – Showed ability in three bumper runs for Nigel Twiston-Davies, clearly needing further when fifth at Worcester last month. His pedigree backs that up and he’s hard to dismiss, but he does come up against some horses who have achieved far more than him.

6 BLACK SAM BELLA – Point to Point winner for Dan Skelton who made her hurdling debut at Bangor last month, going down by a neck to a horse with hurdling experience. There was plenty to like about that run though and she’s a player if staying this extra yardage.
