2.20pm Redcar Tips & Betting Preview 07/11/2017

A small field middle distance claiming stakes with a prize of £3,325. Read on for expert analysis and betting tips.

IN SUMMARYCoroboree is clearly the most talented horse in the field but was very disappointing latest and if in similar form may find it too much to give nine pounds to OUTBACK BLUE who had some respectable form earlier in 2017 and if bouncing back to form could be a tough nut to crack in a weak looking race.

1 COROBOREE – Rated much the best of these according to the handicapper but put in a below par effort last time out,  drops from a Class 3 to a Class 6 however and if rediscovering anything close to his best form he’d be seriously involved here.

2 RESTIVE – Won nicely two starts ago over course and distance and won’t mind the ground so has to be considered, has fifteen pounds to find at the weights with Coroboree but comes into the race in better form so is risky to count out.

3 CLAYTON HALL – Form figures of 09959 tell you that this one doesn’t arrive to the race in great nick and you have to go a long way back in the form book to give him any chance in this company now rated just 48.

4 METRONOMIC  – Has won three times this year which is more than can be said for most of this field but has turned in three disappointing efforts on the bounce and now has something to prove, gets weight from a couple but will need it rated just 61.

5 OUTBACK BLUE – Has some decent form this year and was rated towards the 80 mark at the beginning of the season but has been struggling of late, hasn’t won for a while but has better form claims than plenty of these and this won’t take much winning; interesting.

6 LITTLE PIPPIN – Has won just one of her twenty starts and a mark of 48 doesn’t inspire any confidence that she’ll make it two from twenty-one here, she receives weight almost all around but still has plenty to find on these terms.

7 JUST HEATHER – The rank outsider of the field and it would be a huge shock if she got her head in front, she has an official mark of just 34 and has never been within fifteen lengths of winning a race; easy to look past.
