2.20pm Fakenham Tips & Betting Preview 21/11/2017

2.20pm Fakenham tips for Tuesday’s Class 3 race. It’s disappointing to see another small field over jumps on this Tuesday afternoon, but this race once again promises to be an interesting affair regardless. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: Holbrook Park was a useful hurdler for Neil King and makes his chasing debut with his ideal conditions, but it’s hard to see him beating RED HANRAHAN. He is yet to win over fences but finished a good second on his first two runs before being set a tough task at Newton Abbot on his latest start. He has his ideal conditions and trip on his return for Paul Nicholls and if anywhere near his best, he shouldn’t be for catching here.

1 HOLBROOK PARK – Useful hurdler for Neil King but nothing out of the ordinary, last seen back in March when second at Plumpton on firmer ground. He’s entitled to need this run after such a long absence but the ground and trip is fine and he couldn’t be discounted.

2 KINGSTON MIMOSA – Well held in several low grade events on the flat and over hurdles in 2017 for Mark Gillard and this five year old is not bred for chasing. He was tailed off at Uttoxeter when last seen and he should be outclassed here.

3 RED HANRAHAN – Six year old for Paul Nicholls who has run three good races over fences, finishing second on his first two chasing runs before a tough task on his latest run at Newton Abbot. This is a much easier race for him and if anywhere near his best after an absence he’s not for beating here, especially with the ground how it is.

4 THE LION DANCER – Irish Point winner for Charlie Mann who made a very disappointing rules debut when fifth at Chepstow last month, losing his place early on and tailed off. This is n’t much easier and he looks up against it once again.
